This is a pasta casserole that has been passed down from my Grandmother. Ingredients:
1 lb hamburger |
1 medium onion, chopped |
2 stalks celery, chopped |
1 lb elbow macaroni |
1 (8 ounce) can tomato sauce |
1 (10 1/2 ounce) can tomato soup |
1 tablespoon ketchup |
1/2 teaspoon salt |
1/4 teaspoon pepper |
4 -6 slices bacon |
Directions:
1. Cook macaroni according to directions. 2. Brown Hamburger with onion and celery. Drain. 3. Mix together hamburger and remaining ingredients (except bacon) with the macaroni in a medium casserole dish. 4. Layer bacon on top of mixture. 5. Bake at 350 for an hour uncovered or until bacon is cooked through. |
