1 lb ground beef |
1 onion |
1 stalk celery |
1 tablespoon green pepper |
1 (3 ounce) can tomato paste |
1 tablespoon butter |
1 eggplant |
1/2 cup american cheese |
Directions:
1. chop onion. 2. chop bell pepper 3. chop celery. 4. saute in butter 5. add ground beef. 6. and brown 7. add small can tomato paste. 8. peel eggplant 9. slice about 3/4 inch thick 10. alternate layers of raw eggplant and meat mixture starting with meat. 11. make layers of meat scant 12. top with grated cheese 13. the recipe says cheese slices 14. bake covered at 350 for 30 minutes. |
