Ham & Spinach Quiche à La Manon |

I love quiche and this is the best recipe I ever tried, comes from my friend Manon. I'm posting the ham and spinach but you can try it with different ingredients, just switch the ham for chicken, bacon & tomatoes, seafood... It can freeze ok but it's better fresh out of the oven. You can also take this recipe and make mini-quiches, enjoy! Ingredients:
frozen pie crust (9 inches) |
1 tablespoon of finely chopped onion |
1 tablespoon finely chopped celery |
1 tablespoon parsley |
1 tablespoon flour |
1/2 teaspoon salt |
3 eggs, beaten |
1 cup cream (15% or half and half) |
1 teaspoon of fresh grated parmesan cheese |
1 cup of minced ham (or 1 can of ham, chicken, tuna etc.) |
2 tablespoons chopped spinach (about 3 nuggets of frozen spinach drained) |
Directions:
1. Mix together all the ingredients. 2. Pour into the pie crust. 3. Bake for about 35 minutes in 375 F oven until top is golden,. |
