A delicious pot pie made with Ham. We usually make it and keep the leftovers as the kids enjoy grazing on it later Ingredients:
2 cups cooked cubed ham |
2 cups prepared peppered gravy |
1 (12 ounce) can creamed corn |
1 (12 ounce) can green beans |
1 (12 ounce) can carrots |
1 cup flour |
1/2 teaspoon salt |
1/3 cup vegetable shortening |
2 tablespoons cold water |
Directions:
1. Directions (pie crust). 2. sift flour and salt together. 3. cut in shortening with pastry cutter until it is a coarse meal. 4. add water until dough forms a loose ball. 5. turn out dough onto a floured surface. 6. knead dough and roll out. 7. Directions (filling). 8. cube ham. 9. prepare gravy as instructed. 10. add creamed corn and other vegetables to gravy. 11. add ham 12. cool on low for about 10 minutes. 13. fill pie crust. 14. top with other pie crust. 15. bake uncovered on 350 for 30 t0 45 minutes. |
