I tried this recipe from a brand names cookbook. It is wonderful, and now our favorite macaroni salad. Ingredients:
1 (20 ounce) can pineapple tidbits, drained |
1 lb diced ham |
1 diced red pepper |
2 cups frozen peas |
2 cups diced celery |
8 ounces elbow macaroni, cooked |
1 1/4 cups mayonnaise |
1 tablespoon vinegar |
1 teaspoon onion powder |
1/4 teaspoon pepper |
1/4 teaspoon dill weed |
Directions:
1. Mix first six ingredients in a large bowl. 2. Blend the mayonnaise, vinegar, onion powder, pepper, and dill weed together. Pour over the rest of the ingredients and mix well. 3. Refrigerate 2-3 hours, or overnight to blend flavors. |
