Ingredients:
2 cup(s) diced ham |
2 teaspoon(s) dry mustard |
10 eggs |
1 medium green bell pepper, chopped |
2 cup(s) milk |
1/2 cup(s) onion, chopped |
2 teaspoon(s) salt |
2 cup(s) shredded sharp cheddar cheese |
8 slice(s) white bread, crusts trimmed, cut into 1 inch cubes |
Directions:
1. Butter a 13 x 9 x 2 glass baking dish. 2. Beat milk, eggs, mustard, and salt in large bowl. Mix in bread, ham, peppers, and onion. Transfer mixture to prepared baking dish. Cover and chill overnight. 3. Preheat oven to 375 F. 4. Bake strata uncovered until just set in center (about 50 minutes). Sprinkle cheese over top. Bake until cheese melts (about 5 minutes). 5. Remove from oven. Let stand 10 minutes and serve. |
