HAM AND CHEESE TARTS This recipe came from an estate sale. I obtained it when I purchased the family collection from the McBride Estate in Austin, Texas in 1994. Ingredients:
6 ounces cream cheese softened |
1/2 cup french onion dip |
1 tablespoon milk |
1/4 teaspoon ground mustard |
1/4 teaspoon grated orange peel |
1/2 cup finely chopped fully cooked ham |
12 ounces refrigerated buttermilk biscuits |
1/4 teaspoon paprika |
Directions:
1. In small mixing bowl beat cream cheese, onion dip, milk, mustard and orange peel until blended. 2. Stir in ham. 3. Split each biscuit into thirds then press into lightly greased miniature muffin cups. 4. Spoon a scant tablespoonful of ham mixture into each cup then sprinkle with paprika. 5. Bake at 375 for 15 minutes then serve warm. |
