A good take -a-long,as you dash out the door. Ingredients:
1 cup flour |
1cup yellow cornmeal |
2 tablespoon sugar |
1 tablespoon baking powder |
1/2 teaspoon salt |
1/4 teaspoon garlic powder |
1/4 teaspoon dry mustard |
2 eggs,lightly beaten |
1 cup milk |
1/4 cup vegetable oil |
1 cup grated cheddar cheese |
8 oz cooked ham,diced small |
2 tablespoon diced green onion,top included |
Directions:
1. Mix dry ingredients in a bowl 2. Add eggs,milk,and oil 3. Mix just until blended 4. Fold in cheese,ham,and onions 5. Spoon into greased cups and top of your muffin tin 6. Filling to the tops for oversize muffins(2&1/2 inch muffin tin) 7. Bake ant 400 degree 8. For 15 to 20 minutes or until golden brown 9. Immediately transfer from pan to wire rack 10. Great serves with butter,honey,and fresh fruit. |
