I HAVE MADE THIS DISH THE NIGHT BEFORE, FOR BREAKFAST/BRUNCH. EVERYONE SEEMS TO LOVE IT Ingredients:
12 slices bread |
2 c fully cooked, chopped smoked ham |
2 c cheddar cheese |
1 bunch green onions, sliced |
6 eggs |
2 cups milk |
1 tsp ground mustard |
1/4 tsp red pepper sauce |
paprika |
Directions:
1. 300 OVEN. GREASE 13X9X2 BAKING DISH. TRIM CRUST FROM BREAD. ARANGE 6 SLICES OF BREAD IN DISH. LAYER HAM, CHEESE AND ONIONS ON BREAD. CUT REMAINING BREAD SLICES DIAONALLY IN HALF: ARRANGE ON ONIONS. BEAT EGGS, MILK, MUATARD AND PEPPER SAUCE:POUR OVER BREAD. SPINKLE WITH PAPRIKA. BAKE IMMEDIATELY OR COVER AND REFRIGERATE UP TO 24 HRS. 2. BAKE UNCOVERED FOR 70 MINUTES OT UNTIL CENTER IS SET AND BREAD IS GOLDEN BROWN. |
