Plain old ham and beans. I really used 4 cups of beans, but my Always Save beans had a different count than the ones one here so I put seven cups to make up for it. Ingredients:
7 cups great northern beans, dry |
16 oz. ham , cubed |
12 cups water |
2 chicken bouillon cubes |
1/8 cup onion, chopped |
1/2 t poultry seasoning |
1 t salt |
1 t black pepper |
Directions:
1. Soak beans overnight and rinse. Put all ingredients into a large kettle and cook on low for about 2 hours. |
