Non-alcoholic punch for Halloween
Ingredients:
1 cup sugar
1 teaspoon cinnamon
1 teaspoon allspice
1 quart ginger ale, chilled
2 quarts cider
2 (6 ounce) cans cans frozen orange juice concentrate (undiluted)
3 -4 oranges
cloves to decorate the orange slice
Directions:
1. Mix sugar, cinnamon, allspice, and nutmeg in a saucepan and add 1 cup of cider; heat until sugar dissolves.
2. Add remaining sider and orange juice concentrate; chill.
3. Just before serving, stir in ginger ale.
4. Cut oranges into slices.
5. Decorate the slices with whole cloves to make pumpkin faces.
6. Garnish the drinks with the orange slices.
7. Makes about 12 cups, or 20-24 servings of punch.
