Bacon and cheese. Does it get much better? Ingredients:
9 ounces halloumi cheese |
10 slices bacon |
1 tablespoon chives, chopped |
Directions:
1. Heat oven to 400 degrees. 2. Cut the halloumi into 20 sticks. 3. Stretch each slice of bacon with the back of a knife, then cut in half. 4. Season the bacon with just black pepper, then sprinkle with the chopped chives. 5. Roll the bacon around the halloumi in a spiral and arrange on a baking sheet. 6. Bake for 10-12 mins or until the bacon is brown and beginning to crisp. |
