I had this spread at a beautiful bed and breakfast in Alaska, Ocean Bluff B&B, on the Kenai Peninsula. A great appetizer or bagel spread. Ingredients:
1 lb halibut |
2 (8 ounce) packages cream cheese |
1 1/2 tablespoons garlic salt |
3 stalks green onions |
1 tablespoon toasted sesame seeds |
4 tablespoons salt |
1/4 cup sugar |
Directions:
1. Fill large pot with water and add 4 tablespoons salt and 1/4 cup sugar. Bring to a boil. Cut halibut in 1 chunks. When water boils drop halibut into water. When they float, dump in strainer, and let cool. Flake with fork. Mix into softened cream cheese, garlic salt, onions and sesame seeds. Store in the refrigerator. 2. Serve with crackers. |
