What better way than a slightly savory jam with just a hint of Devil water? Read more ? We love it on fresh biscuits with homemade butter. This recipe/idea is very versatile, so play around with it. Ingredients:
12oz chunky all fruit chutney, jam or preserves(apricot, peach, strawberry, pineapple, mango, cherry, orange, or raspberry. |
1/2 shot liquor(whiskey, brandy, rum, vodka, tequila) |
1t fresh chives, chopped |
fresh ground black pepper and a lil kosher or sea salt |
Directions:
1. Heat all ingredients in small sauce pan just until warmed and mixed through. Do not boil, or even simmer. Just heat. 2. Let cool to thicken back up. 3. You can serve this slightly warm, room temp, or cold! |
