This recipe is straight from a newsletter from H.S. Clay House, a bed and breakfast in Augusta, Missouri. It is a wonderful punch!!! Ingredients:
64 ounces chilled rhine wine (riesling) |
6 ounces peach schnapps |
e 2 oz. triple sec |
3 tablespoons fine sugar |
8 strawberries, thinly sliced |
Directions:
1. Combine ingredients in a large glass pitcher. Stir until the sugar dissolves. Add thinly sliced strawberries or peaches. 2. Option #1: For citrus flavor, add thinly sliced limes and lemons. Serve over ice. 3. Option #2: For winter punch, warm but, do not boil, and add cinnamon sticks and cloves for more flavor. |
