This is a recipe that was given to me by my Mom. Ingredients:
1 cup butter, softened |
1 cup powdered sugar |
1 egg |
1 teaspoon vanilla extract |
2 1/4 cups flour |
2 cups gumdrops, cut-up |
Directions:
1. Cream butter with powdered sugar. 2. Blend in the egg and vanilla. 3. Add the flour and gumdrops. 4. Chill for 1 hour in bowl. 5. Divide into thirds-shape into 3 10-inch rolls. 6. Wrap each roll in wax paper. 7. Chill for 3 hours. 8. Cut into 1/8-inch slices. 9. Put slices onto ungreased cookie sheet. 10. Bake 15-20 minutes at 325 degrees. |
