Ingredients:
2 lbs fresh mussels |
2 cups julienned vegetables (leeks and/or celery and/or onions and/or carrots) |
8 fluid ounces fish stock |
2 tablespoons bacon, lightly browned |
2 tablespoons chopped red onions |
8 fluid ounces guinness stout |
Directions:
1. Combine all ingredients, except Guinness, in a covered pot. 2. Cook until all mussels open, then enjoy! 3. Just before serving the mussels, pour the Guinness over the finished dish. |
