Beer - it's not just for drinking any more! Ingredients:
1 1/4 lbs ground beef |
1 dash pepper |
1/2 teaspoon tabasco sauce |
1 clove garlic, crushed |
1/4 cup chili sauce |
1/2 ounce package knorr french onion soup mix |
1/2 cup guinness stout (or other stout) |
4 hamburger buns |
Directions:
1. Preheat oven to 400F degrees. 2. Combine meat, pepper, Tabasco sauce, garlic, chili sauce, dry onion soup mix, and 11/2 ozs Guinness. 3. Shape into 4 patties. 4. Bake at 400F until brown, about 10 minutes. 5. Baste with the remaining Guinness. 6. Continue baking for an additional 10-15 minutes, until well done. 7. Add your favourite burger garnishes and trimmings. |
