Ingredients:
2 lb beef, cubed |
1 onion, diced |
2 stalk celery, diced |
1 leek, diced |
4 large carrots, diced |
2 tbsp. gravy sauce |
pinch mixed herbs - sage, rosemary, thyme |
1/4 lb butter |
1/4 cup flour |
2 cans beef stock |
salt and pepper to taste |
1/2 x pint guinnessĀ® beer |
Directions:
1. Melf butter in a stock pot, add vegetables and stir till slightly softened ( about 5-6 min) Add Beef and cook for another 5-6 min till browned. Add your favorite herbs and flour, stir. Add beef stock slowly and cook for another 5-6 min. Add gravy sauce and 1/2 pint of Guinness, cover and simmer till for 1 1/2 hours. Season with salt and pepper to taste and serve. |
