Great-tasting variety on traditional beer bread, this one only lasts a couple of days around my house. Ingredients:
4 cups flour |
2 tablespoons baking powder |
1 teaspoon salt |
1/4 cup sugar |
12 ounces guinness stout |
2 eggs, slightly beaten |
Directions:
1. Preheat oven to 375F degrees. 2. Sift together flour, baking powder, salt and sugar. 3. Add Guinness and eggs; stir just until blended. 4. Pour into greased 9x5x3 loaf pan. 5. Bake at 375F for approximately 70 minutes. 6. Remove from pan and cool on wire rack. |
