This is a yummy recipe that will get you raves. There's never any leftover, and it’s, oh, so easy! Enjoy! Ingredients:
2 california avocados (soft to touch, not mushy) |
1 clove fresh garlic, pureed in food processor |
dollop of hellman’s mayo |
lemon juice ' a little squeeze (use fresh lemon if it’s available) |
1 jar chunky style old el paso salsa |
tabasco to taste |
monterey jack cheese w/jalapenos, shredded – we like to use 1 lb. |
Directions:
1. Halve avocados long ways and separate by twisting. 2. Using a spoon, scoop avocado from skin and place in large mixing bowl. 3. Mash avocado with fork, then add mayo. Mix thoroughly. 4. Stir in remaining ingredients, one at a time, and mix well. 5. Chill, then enjoy! Serve with tortilla chips or pita points ~ we love home-fried flour tortilla chips with ours. |
