Excellent as an appetizer along with drinks and when dinner is not ready yet. Ingredients:
3 large tomatoes peeled and cut in quarters. |
6 ripe avocadoes. |
1 glove garlic crusched and mashed. |
3 large onions peeled and cut in quarters. |
1/2 tea spoon salt |
1/2 tea spoon fresh ground black pepper. |
1 cup fresh celantro leaves shredded |
1/2 cup parsley leaves shredded. |
3 table spoons lemon juice |
1 table spoon olive oil. |
2 green hot chilli devained and seeds removed. |
Directions:
1. Place the onions, tomatoes, garlic, green chilli, avocadoes, lemon juice and olive oil in a food mixer and mix pulsating for 2 minutes. 2. Add the celantro, parsley, salt and black pepper and mix for 1 minute until a smooth paste is formed. 3. Place an a seeled container refregerated for at least 1 hour before serving. 4. Serve with Natchoes or corn tortia chips. 5. You may also serve with carrot and cucumber sticks. |
