This is originally from the food section of the Houston Chronicle. I tripled the recipe and took these to a Super Bowl party and had none to bring home!!Everyone raved about these and wanted the recipe, so I thought I'd share it on 'Zaar. Ingredients:
4 hard-boiled eggs |
1/2 cup prepared guacamole |
1 tablespoon chopped cilantro |
1 tablespoon minced green onion |
1/2 teaspoon salt, to taste |
1 teaspoon worcestershire sauce |
1 teaspoon dijon-style mustard |
1 -2 dash hot pepper sauce, to taste |
paprika (to garnish) |
Directions:
1. Slice eggs in half; remove yokes to a mixing bowl. 2. Mash yolks with a fork and add the guacamole, cilantro, and green onion. 3. Season with salt, hot sauce, Worcestershire sauce, and mustard and mix well. 4. Fill empty egg halves and chill until serving time. 5. Sprinkle with paprika just before serving. |
