Cali Style Guacamole Americano (the kind you get on rolled tacos w/cheese mmm..). Ideal for those who hate traditional guacamole because of the tomatoes or onions etc. Use on/in your favorite mexican tacos, burrito's etc. Ingredients:
1 avocado |
4 tbsp light sour cream |
Directions:
1. Smash up the avocado till smooth and creamy. 2. Add the sour cream & stir well so it's a light green. 3. Add salt & pepper to taste. 4. Want it hot? - Add powdered cayenne by the pinch. 5. If you want, toss in some lime juice & mix (this'll help keep it from browning). 6. For a thinner saucier type of guac, add water by the tbsp and mix/stir well. 7. You can also add green tomatillo sauce to this to make a guac/salsa type of mixture. 8. The possibilities are endless. Refrigerate after making (best to eat the same day due to avocado freshness factor). 9. Makes 10 One Tbsp servings. |
