This simple dip is a favorite at Mijita. Lime juice, onion, cilantro, and cumin lend the creamy avocado lots of flavor. Ingredients:
1 cup finely chopped onion |
1/4 cup minced fresh cilantro |
2 tablespoons fresh lime juice |
1/2 teaspoon salt |
1/4 teaspoon ground cumin |
1/4 teaspoon freshly ground black pepper |
2 ripe peeled avocados, seeded and coarsely mashed |
12 ounces unsalted baked tortilla chips |
Directions:
1. Combine first 7 ingredients, stirring well. Serve with chips. |
