WE like ours chunky so I don't mash the avocados till mushy... Love love this!!! Ingredients:
3 avocados, very ripe |
4 clove garlic, minced |
1 lime |
1 tomato |
1 onion, finely diced |
1 bunch cilantro |
1 or 2 or to taste dashes of tabasco sauce |
salt to taste |
Directions:
1. Cut avocados in half, remove seed and scoop out flesh discarding skins. 2. In a medium size bowl mash the avocado to your liking....we love chunky! 3. Squeeze a fresh lime into the mashed avocado and mix in. 4. Dice the tomato after cleaning out seeds leaving only the flesh. Add to bowl along with finely diced onion and the minced garlic. Stir in. Add the tabasco and salt to taste. 5. We also love cilantro too so chop to your taste and mix in. I usually put in at least 2 tablespoons of chopped cilantro. 6. Cover with plastic wrap and press it down onto the guacamole till it touches the surface. 7. This keeps it from turning brown but this meant to be eaten right away. 8. Put in the fridge and let flavors mingle for approx 1 hour.So good!!! 9. Serve with nachos or tortillos. |
