My friend and her husband came back from vacationing in Mexico and brought back this wonderful recipe...it's easy to make and oh so good! ...everytime I bring this to a family function, it is devoured by everyone, including some of the children...you can determine how much heat you want by either adding or subtracting the amount of serrano chili. Ingredients:
4 ripe hass avocadoes |
1 tomato, finely chopped |
1 -2 green onion, the entire sprig finely sliced (white and green part) |
1/4 cup fresh cilantro, chopped |
1 serrano chili pepper, seeded and very finely minced (for hotter flavor throw a few seeds in as well) |
1 lemon, juice of |
salt (to taste, this is important in order to bring all the flavors together) |
Directions:
1. Mix all ingredients to your desired consistency and enjoy! - to enhance the flavors, chill in frig for a couple of hours. |
