From my collection of handwritten recipes. Ingredients:
1 1/2 lbs ground turkey |
2 tablespoons oil |
3 celery ribs, chopped small |
1 onion, chopped small |
1 garlic clove, chopped |
1 bell pepper, chopped small |
1 (15 ounce) can small-diced tomatoes |
1/2 cup ketchup |
2 tablespoons brown sugar |
1 tablespoon vinegar |
1 tablespoon worcestershire sauce |
2 teaspoons tabasco sauce |
Directions:
1. In a pan, on medium heat, cook turkey until no longer pink. 2. Add celery, onion, garlic, and bell pepper. Saute 6 minutes. 3. Add tomatoes, ketchup, sugar and sauces. Cook 6 minutes more until mixed well. Serve over bread or on hamburger buns. For a main meal add tossed salad and french fries. |
