Ground Cilantro (coriander) Chutney |

A nice refreshing chutney that we like to serve with Indian style meals. Ingredients:
1 cup firmly packed fresh cilantro leaves |
8 spring onions |
2 fresh green chilies |
1 clove garlic |
1 teaspoon fresh ginger, grated |
1 teaspoon salt |
2 teaspoons sugar |
1 teaspoon garam masala |
80 ml lemon juice |
40 ml water |
Directions:
1. Seed and roughly chop the chillies. 2. Crush the garlic with the salt. 3. Place these and the remaining ingredients in a food processor or blender and work until smooth. 4. Pack into a small dish, cover and chill until ready to use. |
