2 tablespoons butter |
2 cups thinly sliced onions |
2 lbs ground beef |
1 tablespoon paprika |
salt |
1 green pepper, cut in strips |
1/2 cup canned tomato sauce |
3 beef bouillon cubes |
3 medium potatoes, diced and cooked |
1/2 cup sour cream |
Directions:
1. Melt butter in large heavy kettle. Add onion and cook, stirring often, 10 minutes. Add meat, paprika, and 1 teaspoons salt and cook, stirring, until meat loses its red color. Add green pepper, tomato sauce, bouillon cubes and 1 cup water. Cover and simmer 20 minutes. Add potatoes and heat. Stir in sour cream. Add more salt if necassary. |
