An easy stove-top recipe with the wonderful taste of curry. Ingredients:
1 lb ground beef |
1 onion |
1 1/2 c minute rice |
2 1/2 cups beef broth (3 boullion cubes) |
1/2 t salt |
1 can sliced mushrooms (use fresh if desired) |
1 clove garlic finely chopped |
3 t curry powder |
1/4 t cayenne pepper |
1 t worcestershire sauce |
sour cream |
Directions:
1. Brown beef till no longer pink; drain fat 2. Add rice and finish browning 3. Add the remaining ingredients 4. Heat to boiling; stir well and cover 5. Simmer 20 minutes or until most of liquid is absorbed 6. Garnish with dollops of sour cream |
