This makes 96 meatballs, so I wasn't sure how many it serves. I guess it all depends on how many meatballs a person can eat! Nice smoky flavor! Ingredients:
1 (16 oz) jar of hot, medium or mild salsa,(such as gringo brand)if you can't find that brand, just make sure it's a smoky salsa. if you substitute a non smoky brand, you may want to add a drop or 2 of liquid smoke. |
1/2 cup honey |
1 t ground ginger |
3 t soy sauce |
3 pounds frozen precooked meatballs, thawed9trader joes has some awesome meatballs) |
Directions:
1. Line a 9x13 inch baking dish with aluminum foil 2. Preheat oven to 350 degrees 3. Combine salsa, honey, ginger and soy sauce in a large mixing bowl 4. Add meatballs 5. Stir gently to coat 6. Transfer meatballs and sauce to baking dish 7. Bake uncovered for 1 hour |
