Looking for a sandwich type of meal with a twist and a littl eof warmth this is the one.
Ingredients:
4 (12 inch) flour tortillas
1 tbspn of sesame oil
2 c of sliced cabbage
1 sliced bell pepper
1/2 tspn of thyme
1 sliced green onion
1/2 tspn of minced fresh ginger
1 diced tomato
1 tbspn of dark soy sauce
1 lemon
Directions:
1. You can use a medium sized frying pan or if you have a wok that would work as well. Lets start by heating up the oil.
2. You want to toss in the green onion and peppers and wait for those to caramelize.
3. Now your going to coat your vegetables by adding the thyme,soy,ginger and squeezing the juice out of your lemon.
4. Allow this to simmer until u notice the vegetabls are tender.
5. Stir in the sliced cabbage and diced tomato, making sure to mix it well. Now cover and let simmeruntil you notice the cabbage wilting.
6. Dash the dish with your sesame seeds.
7. Throw the tortillas in the microwave and warm up
8. Add the desired amount of veggies and fold like a burrito.
9. Last you want to take your wrap and place it in a dry frying pan and crisp the outsides of the tortilla.
