A simple and delicious way to grill trout either at home or while camping. Recipe can easily be adjusted depending on number of trout you have. Recipe source: An Artist in the Kitchen Ingredients:
4 trout, cleaned |
4 slices bacon |
4 tablespoons lemon juice |
salt |
pepper |
Directions:
1. Clean trout, wash and pat dry. 2. Sprinkle trout inside with lemon juice, salt and pepper. 3. Wrap bacon around trout (1 piece per trout or may use more), securing bacon with toothpicks. 4. Grill over hot coals for 10 minutes per side or when bacon is done trout is usually done. |
