This makes a great starter! Add what you like to make it your own! Ingredients:
10 cups tortilla chips |
2 lbs bulk pork sausage, cooked and drained |
2 cans (4 oz) mild green chilies |
4 tsp taco seasoning mix |
4 plum tomatoes, chopped |
1/4 cup sliced green onion |
4 cups finely shredded colby-jack cheese |
Directions:
1. Spray two 30 x 18 sheets of heavy duty foil with cooking spray 2. Spread chips on centers of foil pieces 3. Mix sausage, chilies and taco mix; spoon over chips, top with tomatoes and onions. Sprinkle with cheese 4. Wrap foil securely around chips, grill covered, seam side up over medium for 8 to 10 minutes or until cheese is melted 5. 8 servings |
