Great as an appetizer in the summer. Ingredients:
6 hungarian wax peppers |
6 slices bacon |
8 oz. cream cheese |
8 oz. shredded cheddar cheese |
toothpicks |
Directions:
1. Cut the tops off the peppers and clean out the seeds from inside. (careful, you may want to use gloves) 2. Mix cream cheese and cheddar cheese. 3. Stuff each pepper with the cheese mixture. 4. Wrap a slice of bacon around the top of each pepper and continue wrapping the bacon down the pepper in a spiral. 5. Secure bacon with toothpicks. 6. Grill over indirect medium heat for 10 minutes. 7. Place peppers over direct heat for 3-5 minutes so bacon gets crispy. 8. Enjoy! |
