Ingredients:
1 pound(s) 8-12/pd, shrimp
2 teaspoon(s) sea salt dissolved in 1 cup water
4-8 fresh red thai chilies minced
2 fresh serannos or jalapeĀ±os preferably red
1 tablespoon(s) garlic
3 tablespoon(s) fish sauce
3-4 tablespoon(s) fresh lime juice
2-3 teaspoon(s) sugar
2 stalks lemongrass
2 small shallots thinly sliced/ 1/4 cup
2 scallions white and 1/2 green thinly sliced
1/4 cup(s) cilantro or mint chopped
Directions:
1. accompaniments: green leaf lettuce, sliced tomato, fresh cilantro and mint. soak shrim in salt water 5min, then rinse, pound all chilies with garlic to paste, stir in fish sauce, and lime juice, and sugar to taste, stir with other ingredients and serve on a bed of lettuce
