grilled sardines with salsa verde Ingredients:
16 fresh nice size sardines gutted and scaled |
extra virgin olive oil |
sea salt |
for the salsa verde |
zest of 3 lemons |
3 cloved garlic peeled and finely chopped |
i shallor finely chopped |
1 tablespoon capers drained and finely chopped |
1/2 cup flatleaf parsley finely chopped |
1 tablespoon white vinegar |
1 cup extra virgin olive oil |
Directions:
1. mix all the salsa verde ingredients together 2. season sardines with olive oil and sprinkle with sea salt 3. heat grill to high. place sardines and grill each on both sides 4. for about 1 minute or feel firm when touched. sardines should 5. be easily pulled away from the grill. place grilled sardines on a serving platter. spoon the salsa on top of the sardiens. 6. some cherry tomatoes halves with arugula,vinaigrette dressing 7. crusty bread and some crispy white wine |
