A steak I had at a restaurant was so delicious, I came up with this version. I like to make this on special occasions for my family. -Eileen Subiel, Philadelphia Ingredients:
1 tablespoon finely chopped fresh rosemary |
1 teaspoon grated lemon rind |
1 teaspoon freshly ground black pepper |
1 teaspoon extravirgin olive oil |
1/4 teaspoon kosher salt |
2 garlic cloves, minced |
4 (4-ounce) beef tenderloin steaks, trimmed (1 inch thick) |
cooking spray |
Directions:
1. Combine rosemary, lemon rind, pepper, olive oil, salt, and garlic in a small bowl. Rub rosemary mixture evenly over steaks; cover. Refrigerate 1 hour. 2. Prepare grill. 3. Place steaks on a grill rack coated with cooking spray; grill 5 minutes on each side or until desired degree of doneness. |
