Pork tenderloin is both flavorful and lean and an excellent meat for the grill. Great to serve as an entree , with some beautiful in season vegetable sides. You won't go wrong. The sauce is optional, But really good. Read more . It is not a gravy, just a nice chiiled side that tastes great. Ingredients:
1 (2-1/2 to 3 lb.) pork tenderloin |
1/4 c. soy sauce |
1/4 c. bourbon |
2 t. brown sugar |
1 tbs minced garlic |
mustard sauce* optional |
1/3 c. mayonnaise |
1/3 c. sour cream |
1 t. dry mustard |
1-1/2 t. vinegar |
1 tbs dill weed |
1 t. finely chopped scallions |
Directions:
1. Place the pork in a mixture of soy sauce, bourbon, garlic and brown sugar in a large ziplock bag. Marinate for 3 to 4 hours, in refrigerator. 2. Grill the tenderloin for 12 to 15 minutes per side or until cooked through, basting occasionally with the marinade. 3. Prepare the Mustard Sauce, by mixing well and chill for 20 minutes. 4. Slice the tenderloin diagonally. 5. Serve the Mustard Sauce with the tenderloin. |
