You will not believe how good these are. I would have never though to put pepper on peaches, but trust me these are unique, magnificent and have them begging for more. Ingredients:
4 ripe peaches |
3/4 cup white wine |
3/4 cup maple syrup |
freshly ground black pepper |
Directions:
1. Mix wine and maple syrup in a shallow baking dish. 2. Cut peaches in half and remove pits. 3. Lay peach halves flat side down in wine and syrup and soak for at least one hour. 4. Place halves on grill round side down and sprinkle flat side pretty well with pepper. 5. Allow peaches to grill until you get some black grill marks on the skins. 6. Flip over flat side down until grilled thoroughly. |
