Grilled Jalapenos With Bacon and Sausage |

From Catherine Hollie of Cleveland, Texas. Word of warning: Wear GLOVES and do NOT touch your face during prepration. Ingredients:
24 fresh jalapeno peppers |
3/4 lb bulk pork sausage |
12 slices bacon, strips halved |
Directions:
1. Wash peppers and remove stems. 2. Cut a slit along one side of each pepper. 3. Remove seeds. 4. Rinse and dry peppers. 5. Cook sausage over medium heat until no pink remains and drain. 6. Stuff peppers with sausage and wrap with bacon; secure with a toothpick. 7. Grill peppers uncovered over medium heat for 15 minutes or until tender and bacon is crisp, turning frequently. |
