This great variation on grilled burgers is a bit on the Italian side! Ingredients:
1 pound ground beef |
2 tablespoons capers, drained |
2 eggs |
2 tablespoons kalamata olives, pitted and chopped |
2 tablespoons garlic powder |
1 tablespoon dried oregano |
1/2 cup feta cheese, crumbled |
1 cup italian bread crumbs |
Directions:
1. Preheat an outdoor grill for medium-high heat and lightly oil grate. 2. Combine the beef, capers, eggs, olives, garlic powder, oregano, feta cheese, and bread crumbs in a bowl. Divide and form the mixture into 4 patties. 3. Cook burgers on preheated grill about 6 minutes, turning once, to an internal temperature of 160 degrees F (70 degrees C), or to desired doneness. |
