Ingredients:
1/2 pound (2-slabs) halloumi cheese |
2 tablespoons extra-virgin olive oil |
cheese marinade, recipe follows |
1 shallot finely diced |
1 tablespoon minced garlic |
1 lemon, juiced |
2 tablespoons extra-virgin olive oil |
1 teaspoon freshly cracked black pepper |
1 tablespoon freshly chopped parsley leaves |
Directions:
1. Preheat grill to high heat. 2. Brush cheese with 2 tablespoons oil. Grill on each side for 2 to 3 minutes until well marked. Remove from the grill. Pour marinade over the cheese and toss. Slice cheese into 1/2-inch pieces and serve. 3. Cheese Marinade: 4. In a bowl, stir all the ingredients together. |
