Grilled Garlic Cheese Bread |

A great side for those grilled dinners. Just set it to the side and let it go! Ingredients:
1 cup finely shredded cheddar cheese |
1 stick butter, softened |
1t chili powder |
4t garlic powder |
fresh parsley(optional) |
1lb loaf french or italian bread, sliced on the diagonal into about 12 slices |
Directions:
1. Combine butter, chili powder and garlic powder and cheese in small bowl. 2. Spread butter mixture onto one side of each slice of bread. 3. Sprinkle with parsley, if desired 4. Form slices into a loaf on top of heavy duty aluminum foil(large enough to tightly wrap and seal around entire loaf of finished slices) 5. Press slices tighter together and wrap in foil. 6. Grill using indirect heat for about 20 minutes, turning once during cooking, until slices are crispy. |
