This is a fast, easy, super delicious way to prepare your asparagus. So simple, but few think to do it! Ingredients:
1 bunch of fresh asparagus, rinsed and trimmed |
2 cloves of garlic, minced (add more if you're a garlic lover like us!) |
1 teaspoon course salt (kosher or sea salt) |
1/4 cup olive oil |
freshly ground black pepper to taste |
(don't worry about the amount of olive oil - most of it will remain in the bag anyway) |
Directions:
1. Rinse and trim the asparagus stems, and pat dry 2. Put into large ziploc-type bag 3. Add minced garlic, olive oil, salt and pepper 4. Shake the bag so the asparagus is coated nicely. 5. Transfer to aluminum foil on outdoor grill, and grill at medium-high heat until asparagus is bright green and just starting to get the char from the grill. 6. Serve up and enjoy! |
