These are delicious and go great with a grilled sandwich or summer sandwich. You can add whatever you like to top them, but this is my fiesta version. Ingredients:
1 bag extra crispy crinkle-cut frozen fries (such as ore-ida) |
1-1/2 ounces real bacon bits |
1 cup of cheddar cheese, shredded |
1/4 cup sour cream |
1/4 cup guacamole (make your own favorite recipe) |
2 tablespoons tomatoes, diced |
2 tablespoons black olives, sliced |
taco seasoning |
Directions:
1. Preheat grill to medium heat (450°-500°) 2. Line a foil pan with some aluminum foil and spray with non-stick cooking spray. 3. Place frozen fries in a single layer. 4. Place the pan on the grill. 5. Cook for 10 minutes. 6. Turn fries, spray on a bit more cooking spray and sprinkle with taco seasoning. 7. Cook for 5-10 more minutes. 8. Remove pan from grill. 9. Top with bacon and cheese. 10. Return to grill and cook 2 minutes more or until cheese melts. 11. Remove from grill and top with sour cream, guacamole, tomatoes and black olives. |
