A somewhat more adult version of the classic grilled cheese sandwich. Ingredients:
2 slices bread (i like sourdough!) |
2 slices roasted deli chicken (about 30 g) |
2 teaspoons pesto sauce |
1 slice provolone cheese |
2 teaspoons margarine |
Directions:
1. Arrange chicken, pesto, and cheese between the two slices of bread. 2. Spread outsides of sandwich with margarine. 3. Cook sandwich in a non-stick skillet on medium-high heat for about 3 minutes per side, or until cheese is melted and bread is golden brown. |
