This is another recipe to add to our string of bacon recipes! These potatoes are just fantastic. Easy on the grill recipe. You'll definitely want this one on the menu at your barbecue. This recipes is for one foil packet (serves 2). Simply multiply for more servings. Ingredients:
3 large red potatoes, not peeled, sliced thin |
1 medium yellow onion, sliced thin |
3 slices bacon |
3 tablespoons butter |
2 teaspoons paprika |
salt, to taste |
garlic powder, to taste |
pepper, to taste |
Directions:
1. Fire up the grill! 2. Place the three slices of bacon side by side in the center of a large piece of aluminum foil. 3. Layer your potatoes and onions on top of the bacon 4. Add your paprika, salt, pepper, and garlic to the top of the potatoes and onions. 5. Cut your butter into pads and place across the top of the potatoes. 6. Wrap potatoes up tightly in the foil; double wrap for extra support. 7. Let potatoes cook on grill, not over direct heat, for at least an hour. 8. Your potatoes should be tender and brown when finished- your bacon will not be crispy, it will be nice and soft and easy to mix! |
