I like to start off with this as an appetizer. It prepares and cooks quickly. I usually put all my vegetables on the edge of the grill that'll take a while to cook, and cook these in the middle before I put the meat on. It's a great finger food, and even people who don't like asparagus will love this. Ingredients:
1 lb asparagus |
olive oil |
creole seasoning (tony chachere's, zatarain's, or any kind of season salt that contains salt, cayenne pepper, black pe) |
Directions:
1. Wash asparagus and break off any brown or tough bottoms of the stalk. 2. Drizzle in olive oil, coat with creole seasoning to taste. 3. Grill for 5 minutes or so, until tender. Cook longer if you like it crispier. |
